Jordan Hess has been enjoying a remarkable success and reputation, especially for such a young maker. Even though Jordan is an incredibly prolific maker, there’s about 6 months of waiting period year round due to high demand. This particular Hess is a Guadagnini copy with a warm, round tone that musicians have come to expect from Jordan’s violins. It is remarkably comfortable, with a slightly angled and thinner neck - a characteristic musicians often notice the very first time they try an instrument of his. Boasting impressive clarity and aged sound, this violin is an excellent representation of Jordan’s Cremonese-inspired methods and designs.
